Obituary:

 

William A. Case of Chalfont passed away at his residence Sunday February 19, 2012.  He was 82. 

Born in Doylestown, Bill was the son of Raymond and Elizabeth (Rash) Case.  He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Barbara (Nash) Case and son William R. Case (Lisa) of Sellersville.  Also surviving are his sisters Pat Stover (Evan) and Barbara Logan (Al) and his grandchildren Debbie Case, Sean Case and Michael Clark.  He was predeceased by a sister Jackie Ofner (Mike). 

Bill was a US Army veteran and airplane mechanic during the Korean War from 1951-1953.  He was involved in car racing most of his life and drove sprints and midget race cars.  He owned and maintained Quarter Midgets, Midgets and Sprints with his son and grandson.  Bill also enjoyed boating and fishing but his biggest pleasure was spending time with his son and grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service, 11 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Pleasantville United Church of Christ, 3424 Limekiln Pike, Chalfont, PA where the family will greet friends immediately after the service.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Pleasantville United Church of Christat the above address.
